Who doesn’t want a margarita while vacationing at the beach?!? Mix up a pitcher of this “fresh” and tasty version of Mango Margs for beachside, poolside or wherever-side strikes your fancy! The bottled key lime juice is a serious time saver but the addition of the fresh squeezed lime juice gives it just the right amount of fresh lime-y goodness so you can’t even tell:) Once you’ve had this fresh version, you’ll never go back to bottled again!

1.5 c 100% agave tequila

1 c bottled key lime juice

Juice of 3 limes

1/2 c grand marnier or your fave orange liquer

+/- 1 c simple syrup* or agave syrup to taste

1 6-7oz box of mango juice/nectar

Mix all the above ingredients in a pitcher. If you don’t care for mangos, skip it. If you want to change up the fruit addition, use whatever flavor you prefer…apricot, peach, pomegranate, berry, etc. Chill in fridge for about an hour or longer if you have time. If not, pour over ice and garnish with sliced lime or fruit. Cheers!!

*Simple Syrup: Mix equal parts sugar and water in 4 cup pyrex/glass container. Microwave 2-4 minutes or until boiling. Stir until all sugar is dissolved. Voila…simple syrup couldn’t be easier. By the way…I use Sugar in the Raw instead of the white processed sugar, and I didn’t even bother waiting for it to cool before adding to the mix!

Cheers!!

Watermelon…summer’s natural treat.  Sliced into triangles makes for a happy kid. Pureed with tequila and blueberries makes for a happy mom or dad:)  Give this tipple with a summertime spin a twirl this 4th of July!  The Watermelon-Tequila Cocktail has the makings for the perfectly colored Independence Day bev…red-watermelon, blue-berries, and ice-white or toss on a straw with white stripes!  No matter what you can’t go wrong! Cheers!!

Sip: The Gringo gets drunk

Media_httpwwwendlesss_evxmr

The Gringo comprised of tequila (one of my go-to drink additions especially when it’s warm outside), St. Germain (another favorite), grapefruit juice (yummy with tequila:)), and a pale ale (recipe calls for Double Mountain Vaporizer, but any hearty pale ale will do). Can you see yourself sitting out on your deck or patio sipping this refreshing and unique beverage tonight with friends because that’s exactly where you’ll find me! Cheers!
