The 1st Annual DC Funky Fresh Foodie Fest on Saturday August 25th from 1-9PM at the DC Fairgrounds is just the cure! Depart DC/Sip: Reston Challenge Spring Festival to benefit 4Paws

Lake Anne Plaza in Reston plays host to the Reston Challenge Spring Festival from 11:00AM-5:00PM.  Admission is free!  Bring the kids for a scavenger hunt with a first place prize of a $100 GiftCard to Whole Pet Foods & Assorted Treats from the Cup Cake Lady! Local restaurants will provide food and beer from Starr Hill and Old Dominion Brewing Co. will be available for purchase.  An added bonus is all the proceeds will benefit the 4Paws Rescue Team!  I can tell you first hand this is a worthwhile organization that finds homes for cats and kittens while never putting them to sleep unless medically necessary.  We have a dear friend, Zelinda, who has a recue cat as a pet and can safely say that this was one of the best cats she has EVER owned!  Consider coming out to enjoy the gorgeous weather, eat and drink in a lovely setting, and help a good cause!
